Prayer Requests |

I sincerely believe in the power of prayer. Otherwise my children, myself, and others in my life would not have the gift of many tomorrows, much less the gift of today. With wrenching grief, I have gone through so many troubling times with my younger daughter. But, there is a divine reason for everything. In two days, my beautiful daughter will graduate from her master’s program with a high GPA. All those years of trouble will now help to serve others. Both of my daughters are miracles. My heart ached with grief knowing that my father was dying just months ago. Prayers sustained me. I know the pain of suffering, losing a loved one, and so many other things that I have given up to the Lord. Prayer is simply a way of communicating with God. There are no special requirements or protocol. He is our Father. We can talk to Him, just as we talk to our best friend, or our spouse, our children. We can express anger, gratitude, anything that you choose to say. I love what Mother Teresa once wrote:
Prayer is needed for children and in families. Love begins at home and that is why it is important to pray together. If you pray together you will stay together and love each other as God loves each of you. |
